2020 Fat (82kg-->92/95kg), undertrained, UTA cancelled twice=going nowhere fast
Darlington Half in 2hrs 7min in very humid conditions on a hilly course, March 8th (last race before the virus cancelled everything)...

Lots of W Gorge training runs Including a 1313m vertical gain day on March 15th when I was still dreaming of UTA... see here.
A twilight ascent of Mt Magog on March 31st (see strava data here) just before the intrastate borders closed.;
87kg for Magog ascent...--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My UTA race in May was cancelled, in fact everything was cancelled in April/May, as hysteria and the the very real pandemic took hold, and governments reacted dramatically in an attempt to buffer the health system, which in Australia worked very well, and put the country into a temporary coma economically....

90kg for Double Bluff ascent...
Eventually the intrastate border reopened and when it did I went back to the mountains soon afterwards to do a Double Bluff Knoll ascent on June 21st and landed an 11min PR of 4hrs 18min, as I once again dared to dream of a 2020 UTA in October... strava data

92kg Next PTS race was the FAT Lamb 20km on August 30th which I did in just under 4 hours;
92kg Then on September 20th my only marathon for the year; The Sunset Coast marathon (5hrs38) in horizontal rain, hail, and with about a 12min toilet stop at halfway after taking 2hrs 21min to get my fat body through the first half, the second half was just a battle to get to the end before the 6hour cutoff... A true disasterpiece... see data here
