Had a good race, started strong was one of the first to get up That Dam Hill, and made it to the 6km mark in 44min 48...That is a significant PR...
Slowed a bit from there but kicked on well enough and finished ok for a 3hr 29min effort in my first time racing the Lamb course... Good racing hitout.
Did the longer race (that follows the same course but does an extra 10km) Goat in 2015 and 2017...

Always enjoy seeing the amazing views of the town/suburb of Byford below the Woodstock strava segment...
Getting a bit warm towards the end, so a bit of a grind as I left pointless and headed into march through the meadow of death for the last couple of km...
