first 5 got their world champs qualifier out of the way..Well done Ben St Lawrence!! flew the flag proudly! Mottram a little off the pace but he has momentum, is on track with that 13.25, if Mottram keeps the momentum going he could be on the podium again very soon. Solinsky gets one up on Tegankamp but they both get a qualifier. Birmingham didn't get a good result here...now just got to find the youtube of it..
video of this race is at Runners Tribe...

I was lucky to catch the live streaming. A pretty exciting race! Lagat eased off the pace as soon as the pace-maker dropped out, so well done to Solinsky for pushing things along. Lagat had too many gears for St Lawrence - Lagat's 1500m quality coming to the fore.
Thanks for the links Trailblazer. Really enjoyed watching it!
By the way, I plan to bee in WA in August this year, visiting with relatives in Lancelin north of Perth. I also intend to race the half marathon that is part of the Perth "City to Surf" on the 28th.
Will you be running any of these races?
thanks for the video. Yes, Lagat is a 1500/3000m specialist, hence reason for the great kick. Wondering what was Ben's split for the last lap since he was way behind at the bell.
